DOG
SLED TOURS & YEAR AROUND FLIGHTSEEING WITH K-2 AVIATION
Let us help set up your unique Alaskan Adventure!
Welcome
to Wings & Paws
Kennel. Home to Rick and Linda
Horstmann and our kids. A pack of eclectic, energetic, four footed
athletes, some call them “sleddogs”.
This could be you! |
It’s about the adventure, it’s
about following your dreams, it’s about what my role model
and friend
Col. Norman Vaughan says:”Dream Big and Dare to Fail”But
mostly it’s all about the dogs and the unique passport to
the Alaskan winter wilderness they provide. Wings & Paws is
located at Montana Creek
Alaska, in a beautiful Boreal Forest. The “Great One”,
Denali reigns supreme over the area and enhances the spectacular
Alaskan country side in which we live and train our team of sleddogs.
The Iditarod
was a goal and a grand adventure, but its really about traveling
and camping with the dogs.

*CABIN
RENTAL* |
|
|
|
We
are currently offering a cozy daily rental cabin perfect
for one or two with their own transportation.
You will be staying on an old Alaskan homestead that
working sled dogs have called home for over 40 years.
We offer a free kennel tour to our guests. If you
are interested in learning more about the sled dogs
who call this home you might order ‘The Back
of the Pack” on our website. The author Don
Bowers is in the Iditarod Hall of Fame and wrote the
book while living and training dogs here. We are also
within walking distance of world class fishing.
We can get you discounts on flight seeing tours and
other attractions, and help with accommodations for
larger groups.
Please let us know if
we can be of further assistance.
Sincerely,
Rick & Linda
